  What is a Webinar?

    

 

    A webinar is a Web-Based Seminar. Attending a webinar is like attending any seminar in a conference room except you don't leave the comfort of your home or office.  You use your computer to view the presentation through your web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc). and listen to the audio through your computer speakers or telephone. A key feature of a Webinar is its interactive elements -- the ability to give, receive and discuss information. There is a written chat option on the screen where you can type in your questions and the presenter will answer them.
   
  Why Should I Attend?
    Attending a Webinar gives you the opportunity to see and hear live presentations without leaving your home, office or even vacation!  Sandicor has training webinars on TEMPO™ and its associated products that we offer for all our members. After the presentation, the recorded webinar will be available so you can watch it as many times as you need to.
   
  What Do I Need to Attend?
    All you need is a phone and a computer with access to the web. No special software is required to participate, only the ability to log into the web site given in your Webinar confirmation email. In order to hear the presenter, you can use your computer speakers or call the phone number given in the confirmation email.
